I see this all the time around Omotesando and Harajuku. I guess it is down to Omotesando's connection to fashion and it's popularity amongst young people.
Not sure what was attractive about this shot, taken directly outside the concrete block of a Japanese High School.

Bikes around Omotesando

I don't know why but it is particularly trendy to ride racing style and particularly fixed wheeled type bikes in and around the Omotesando area. They are everywhere. Here is a load piled up outside a restaurant.
And some more stacked next to a hair dressers.

Omotesando Hills

Actually I hate this place as I think a lot of the character of the area was lost when it was built.
Mainly because it resulted in the demolishing of some 1920's style flats, the above two are the only ones that managed to survive the developers.

Two Worlds Apart

Old run down flats in Aoyama, close to Omotesando. One of the most expensive areas of Tokyo. Although these don't look that expensive.
